Finally: GIMP 2.10 is available for download for Windows, MacOS and Linux.
Was released the latest stable version of this so popular tool for image editing with open source software. Very often it is seen as an alternative to Photoshop.
The tool was developed over 6 years old, which is pretty good considering that opensorse only just beginning to gain well-deserved popularity.
The release of GIMP 2.10 carries a huge number of different modifications and improvements. Designers will certainly appreciate the new features available in version 2.10.

Features of GIMP 2.10
Changes in GIMP 2.10 are visible immediately. For example, the interface is updated. New theme activated by default, has also been updated icons.

How to install GIMP 2.10 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint
Package GIMP 2.10 for Windows, MacOS and Linux (as compiled source code) are available on the official GIMP website.
To install Gimp 2.10 as an application Flatpak – just follow this link.
You can also use this command:

Remove GIMP 2.8 (if installed) before adding this PPA.
