LMarbles — a small C++ / SDL puzzle game inspired by the classic game Atomix.

Atomix (the Atomics) — step-by-step puzzle game in which the player of the separated atoms form a molecule by certain rules of the game mechanics. The puzzle is fun and has educational potential.

LMarbles by the gameplay and graphics is virtually identical to the puzzle Atomix, the goal is to move the colored balls (atoms)to compose of them a given structure (of the molecule).

Though at first glance, the preparation of the structures seems simple, but the floating balls do not stop moving until you collide with a wall or other obstacle. Their actions must be carefully planned, since the ball is trapped in a dead end “to get” is impossible.

In the first few levels the only obstacle are the walls, but then there are different obstacles and devices. Each level is allocated a certain number of moves at the end without exceeding the allowed number of moves are awarded “bonus” points. No time limits makes LMarbles perfect for fans of abstract puzzles.

LMarbles has over thirty levels (you can create your own), supports working in window and fullscreen mode, the visual and sound effects. Settings and results of the passage stored in the configuration file (~/.lgames/lmarbles.conf) are automatically generated when you first start the game to control using a mouse and/or keyboard.

LMarbles is part of the LGames (set a small SDL games).
