QtikZ — easy to use C++ / QT graphical editor language TikZ, the application for drawing various charts and graphs.
TikZ&PGF (Graphic systems for TeX) is a tandem of languages for producing vector graphics from a geometric/algebraic description. The project is developing with the 2005 year, developed by and for the most part supported the Thill of Tantau (Till Tantau) portable graphic format, and a set of libraries and utilities allowing you simply to create good quality vector graphics (charts, graphs, etc.) to be embedded in TeX (LaTeX) documents.
PGF (Portable Graphics Format) a low level language for creating vector graphics TikZ recursive acronym for “TikZ ist kein Zeichenprogramm” (TikZ German is not a drawing program”) is a set of macros (a macro, a sequence of actions, template) more high-level that use PGF. Package TikZ is quite a lot of solutions allowing to obtain high-quality charts and graphs, but it is quite difficult to assimilate although it has extensive documentation.
QtikZ greatly simplifies the creation and editing of TikZ diagrams and charts, in fact it is optimized editor for LaTeX (set of macrodactylini, the macro package system, DTP), make it easy to write various “drawings“.
QtikZ provides a partially customizable user interface, toolbars are edited, moved, and shut down. The editor has an extensive set of features that can be applied in real-time when you compile a document in LaTeX (pdflatex), the function based on the possibilities of Poppler (a library for rendering PDF files).
QtikZ has an unlimited snooze function/reset changes (Undo/Redo), your settings are saved in configuration file (~/.config/Florian_Hackenberger/qtikz.conf), the control is via mouse and/or keyboard combinations, access to detailed built-in documentation (in English).
