Mega Mario — a two-dimensional arcade platformer a clone of the classic platformer Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros is a video game released in 1985 year, the company Nintendobest-selling game in history. The protagonist of the game Mario (Mario) has become a symbol of the company, and one of the most famous fictional characters in the world.
Mega Mario according to the developers is almost a complete clone of Super Mario Bros. 1, retaining all the capabilities and features of the original game but with better (more modern) graphics, a new (additional) levels and smoother controls.
The plot of Mega Mario is almost exactly like the original platformer, the gameplay is based on the fact that would go through all the levels and earn as many points as possible (destroying enemies and collecting bonuses)to rescue the captured Princess.
Mega Mario has small system requirements, can run in windowed and fullscreen mode, there is the sound corresponding to the original. You can enable/disable the “Fountain of blood” (red splatter) flying when killed Mario and/or some enemies can be set/adjusted in the configuration file (~/.megamario/mario.ini)to control using a keyboard.
