trolCommander — way to Java (Java Swing) graphical file Manager, a fork of the file Manager muCommander.
muCommander is a universal Java graphical file Manager with two-panel interface (dual-pane interface), support for archives and remote servers (FTP, SFTP, SMB, NFS, HTTP, etc).
trolCommander was created for the reason that muCommander for many years have not been updated (since 2012) and it lacks many of the features needed for a file Manager (e.g. search), and the authors of the project after so many attempts never got in touch.
trolCommander has all of the features characteristic of file managers functionality needed to work with the filesystem: copy, move, rename, delete files and directories, creating directories, view size, access rights, etc…
User interface trolCommander as muCommander partially customizable, supports changing the skins directory and files with the ability to edit them (you can choose the font and color).
trolCommander offers directory browsing in the form of the tree, and create bookmarks to any directory (including network), you can open tabs and multiple Windows, a built-in text editor with syntax highlighting and terminal emulator.
trolCommander can work with local and network drives, under the protocols: FTP, SFTP, SMB, NFS, HTTP, Amazon S3, Hadoop HDFS and Bonjouralso supports work with the file system Androiddevices can display files in hexadecimal format (Hex-viewer).
trolCommander supports “on the fly” with ZIP archives without the need to pinch the entire archive, and can also create and unpack archives many other more popular formats (RAR, 7z, TAR, GZip, Bzip2, etc.), can mount and simple to unpack disc images (ISO, NRG, etc).
trolCommander allows you to view files in most graphics formats as thumbnails, supported multi-rename, search through the file system (mask contents) and the checksum calculation (supported algorithms: Adler32, CRC32, MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512).
trolCommander compared to the original muCommander received many smaller improvements, bug fixed, added high resolution icons, improved performance and reduced memory consumption. The control is performed using commands, mouse and/or keyboard shortcuts (fully customizable).
