
The Fedora Project has once again been accepted as a mentoring organization in the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program — an annual initiative that brings student developers into open source contribution. Participants will spend their summer working on Fedora projects under the guidance of experienced mentors, while being paid for their work.
This year’s proposed ideas include improving GPIO and ARM support in Fedora, enhancing the Fedora Android app, expanding OpenShift and Docker integrations, and building better tools for automation and CI.
Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in an accredited institution, with the right to work in their country of residence.
