clidoc — little Ruby (ruby-ronn) command-line utility for creating reference pages (man pages) and text of the manuals (help text) from Markdowndocuments.

Markdown — presented in 2004 year, the lightweight markup languagecreated with the goal of writing the most readable and easy to edit text, but suitable for conversion to languages for advanced publications (HTML, Rich Text and others). Markdown is not a replacement for HTML, its syntax is limited and meets only a small subset of HTML.

clidoc is a wrapper for the utility ronn, greatly simplifying its use. With the help of ronn converts a Markdown document in Groff file (man pages) and HTML document. After analyzing the HTMLfile of the text converted to manual using the features of this utility xidel (a tool for downloading and extracting data from HTML/XMLpages).
