Boostnote — simple Electron / JavaScript (nodejs) graphical application for creating notes.
Boostnote designed for the creation and organization of multi-format note-taking app is aimed mainly at programmers and scientists, but can easily be used by users of any skill level.
Boostnote is traditional for most similar applications, the user interface and many settings, supports changing themes notes Manager (there are five themes).
To create and edit notes in Boostnote is a visual Markdowneditor working in two-pane mode, in edit mode or view (there are many themes the code editor and the preview pane).
Created notes can be distributed in folders (notebooks), you can create a Markdown-notes (text notes with formatting) and Text-notes (notes with code in them). Made to the notes changes are saved automatically, the list of notes you can sort by alphabet, date created or modified.
To notes you can add tags, you can create TODO-lists (effective system of organization to-do lists), the editor recognizes and highlights more than a hundred programming languages, in the same note, you can save an unlimited number of code snippets.
Notes Manager Boostnote supports LaTeX (set of macrodactylini, a macro package of computer typesetting system TeX)that allows you to add notes, mathematical formulas and graphs.
Boostnoteм saves all data in a single directory that allows you to sync your notes with cloud services (Nextcloud, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc), to control using mouse and/or keyboard shortcuts (fully customizable).
