Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory — free three-dimensional online multiplayer first person shooter for Linux. Based on the game Return to the Castle Wolfenstein. The game takes place during the Second world war.
The game was originally wanted to make a charge in addition to Return to the Castle Wolfenstein, but as it completely lacks single player mode, it was decided to make it a free game.
You can play over a network or via the Internet. The game features several maps from the game developers that are copies of real terrain. Additional maps can be downloaded from the Internet. If you connect to the server on which this map is used which you do not, then it is automatically downloaded. You can play for one of the five types of characters. Moreover, during the game you increase the level of your character — “bleeding players”.
Games are available for Linux, Windows and MacOS X.
