Wemed is a specialized C++ / GTK (WebKit) graphical application to view, create and edit documents in the format of MIME.
MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) — multi-purpose mail extension Internet standard that describes a method of transferring e-mail executable, graphics, multimedia and multimodal data. In some email systems have gateways that provide MIME translation.
A typical use of MIME is transfer digital images, audio, simple, and structured text documents. The use of MIME is necessary to when the shipment was not made any transformations of the data.

Wemed is partly customizable user interface, providing the ability to view, edit and create documents in the format of MIME. It supports simple email messages (*.eml files) and MIME HTML archives (*.mht or *.mhtml files).
