Grub Customizer — a program under Linux to configure the Grub in graphical mode. The program allows you to edit (rename, delete, hide) menu items of the boot, the color of the menu items, background image for the Grub boot loader and more.
You can also set the timeout (the timeout of the running OS), screen resolution, prescribe additional parameters for the kernel.
The program supports Grub 2 and Burg.
Note that when working with Grub Customizer, you should be careful, since wrong setup of Grub may lead to fatal errors when the system boots.
Install Grub Customizer in Ubuntu Linux
To install Grub Customizer in Ubuntu run the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install grub-customizer
The first two commands add the appropriate repository and installs the latest Grub Customizer. To run the program as root user:
