Amphetamine — exciting C++ / SDL game in the style of “jump and run“, a two-dimensional platformer with unique visuals.
Amphetamine is characteristic of the genre “platformer” (game platform) gameplay, the player will be using the magic weapons to fight eleven evil monsters. The game is accompanied by various visual effects such as colored lighting and flashes, fogging, crowns and other…
Many aspects of the gameplay can be changed in the configuration file (~/.amph/amph.conf), of most interest are the parameters controlling the physics of the game. If the game seems slow, or too fast, changing some “default” (/etc/amphetamine/amph.conf) values will help to fix it.
Amphetamine can work in window and full screen mode (run with –fullscreen), there are sound effects, to control using a keyboard. To configure the keyboard controls in the config file (~/.amph/user.conf) by copying the home directory of the source (/etc/amphetamine/user.conf).
Amphetamine was created by Jonas Spillmann (Jonas Spillmann), the game is part of a project to the Debian Games Team (an internal project Debian unifying accompanying games Game Debian Maintainers).
