Akiee — a simple C++ / GTK GUI application for organizing to-do lists, a task Manager with a unique ranking algorithm and saves data in the Markdownfile.
Markdown — presented in 2004 year, the lightweight markup languagecreated with the goal of writing the most readable and easy to edit text, but suitable for conversion to languages for advanced publications (HTML, Rich Text and others). Markdown is not a replacement for HTML, its syntax is limited and meets only a small subset of HTML.
The task Manager Akiee has a user interface in Gnome 3 (GTK3), the list is not based on the most similar application format Todo.txt (the text file list, the storage format of lists)and stored in a file with Markdown-syntax (allowing you to easily edit in a text editor or a specialized).
Akiee made with a focus on simplicity and step-by-step tasks, to-do lists don’t have a complex priority system, the user just need to draw up a task list and choose which tasks to work on. There are three types of lists to do (TODO), perform (DOING) and done (DONE), within the task list can be moved.
For added challenge you can add a start and end date, tags, and description of, the distribution of project task can be implemented through direct editing the Markdown file. Since all tasks are stored in a single file (default ~/.akiee/liveflow.md), you can easily synchronize your list between multiple devices (on a local network or using cloud services).
Akiee targeted at developers and hackers (according to developers), but can be used by users of any level of competence. Manager settings tasks you can set in the configuration file (~/.config/akiee/Preferences), to control you can use the mouse and/or keyboard shortcuts.
