Skype is undoubtedly one of the most popular software products for voice over IP telephony audio and video, and instant messages and files – and not just because it is Microsoft, but because it has a rich set of features that allow its users to communicate in both casual and business environment.
Despite this, one of the beauties of the open software market healthy competition, and I am happy to tell you that there are many alternatives by which you can easily send instant messages and conduct video conference as easily as Skype.

Slack is a reliable application for instant messaging designed for personal use and for business correspondence, so that users can easily and securely communicate in an orderly manner. It includes functions such as user names, tags, channels, group calls and multimedia support.
